The UK completed the worldwide rollout of its Electronic Travel Authorization, ETA, this month.

Every visitor who does not need a full visa must obtain an ETA before travel. The authorization is valid for two years and allows multiple stays of up to six months.

Applications take an average of three business days to process, though most are approved within hours.
