Thailand's cabinet has approved a permanent extension of visa exempt entry from 30 to 60 days for tourists holding passports from 93 eligible countries.

The change applies to arrivals by air, land, and sea. Travelers may extend once for an additional 30 days at any local immigration office for a fee of THB 1,900.

Officials say the move is designed to attract long stay tourists, digital nomads, and repeat visitors from key source markets.
